Houseparents at Milton Hershey School act as role models and guides for 8-12 students, taking on various responsibilities including transportation, medication administration, and daily support. This is a two-person job that requires both spouses to be comfortable leading students in daily devotions and taking them to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings. Both spouses should be age 27 or older and have a high school diploma or GED. They must also be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and demonstrate a high degree of integrity as all staff are role models for students.
