About this Job:
We are seeking a married couple to join our team as Houseparents. As a Houseparent, you will be responsible for providing a family-like environment for students from disadvantaged backgrounds, supporting their academic and personal growth, and modeling excellent behavior. You will also be responsible for managing daily responsibilities, including driving, administering medication, budgeting, and reporting.
Responsibilities:
* Provide a family-like environment for students
* Support students academically and personally
* Model excellent behavior and promote our core values
* Manage daily responsibilities, including driving, administering medication, budgeting, and reporting
Requirements:
* Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably in under-served settings
* Legally married couple for at least two years
* Both spouses should be age 27 or older
* No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
* High school diploma or GED required
* Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
* Candidates must demonstrate a high degree of integrity as all staff are role models for students
