What are the responsibilities and job description for the Married Couple House Parents - Unique Career Opportunity position at Milton Hershey School?
We are seeking married couples to become flex house parents at Milton Hershey School, where students in pre-K through 12th grade from disadvantaged backgrounds receive an exceptional education with housing, meals, and more—and all costs are covered. As a flex house parent, you will provide a supportive and caring environment for our students, living in an on-campus student home with your spouse.
Your responsibilities will include guiding a group of approximately 8-12 students, handling responsibilities such as driving, administering medication, budgeting, and reporting, as well as providing a family-like structure for the students and taking them to Sunday chapel services. To be successful in this role, you must have experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings.
Couples must be age 27 or older, and no more than three dependent children may reside in the student home. You must also have a valid driver's license and be able to lift up to 50 lbs. We offer a competitive compensation package, including free housing, meals while on duty, utilities, and more, as well as comprehensive benefits and a flexible schedule.
We believe that our students deserve the best possible care and support, and we are committed to creating a positive and supportive environment for our students and staff. If you are looking for a meaningful career opportunity, please consider applying for this position.
