What are the responsibilities and job description for the Married Couple Houseparent Opportunity position at Milton Hershey School?
At Milton Hershey School, we are looking for married couples to become Flex Houseparents. As a Flex Houseparent, you will live on-campus with your spouse and provide a consistent family-like structure for students.
You will be responsible for guiding and nurturing a group of approximately 8-12 students, handling responsibilities such as driving, administering medication, budgeting, reporting, and more. When initially hired, you will cover different student homes before being assigned to one specific home.
The ideal candidates have experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings. Both spouses should be age 27 or older, and no more than three dependent children may reside in the student home.
