Salary and Benefits:
The salary for this position is $43,825 per person, totaling approximately $150,000 per couple. The compensation package also includes free housing, meals while on duty, utilities, and more. About the Job:
As a flex houseparent, you will reside in an on-campus student home and provide a consistent family-like structure for students. Your responsibilities will include guiding students, administering medication, and maintaining a safe and nurturing environment. You will work closely with your spouse to create a family-like atmosphere, which will help students feel at home. You will also be responsible for guiding students, administering medication, and maintaining a safe and healthy environment.
Requirements:
To be considered for this role, you must have experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings. You and your spouse must be legally married for at least two years, and both spouses should be age 27 or older. You must also be able to lift up to 50 lbs and have a valid driver's license. Additionally, you must be comfortable leading students in daily devotions and taking them to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services.
Working Schedule:
You will work a schedule of nine days on followed by three days off. Workdays include a period of personal time while students are at school. You will also have three-week paid summer vacation.
