Responsibilities
Flex houseparents are responsible for providing a nurturing family-like environment for 8-12 students. They handle various responsibilities such as transportation, medication administration, and budgeting. Couples will reside in on-campus student homes and provide a consistent family-like structure for students. In addition, they will be responsible for daily devotions and taking students to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services.
Requirements
Couples must have experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings. They should be legally married for at least two years and both spouses should be age 27 or older. Couples may have no more than three dependent children residing in the student home and must abide by a smoke-free and weapon-free campus. Valid driver's licenses and ability to become certified to drive student home vans are also required.
