As a Youth Development Specialist, you and your spouse will play a critical role in supporting the academic and personal success of our students. Your responsibilities will include providing guidance and care to students in our residential program, leading daily devotions, and taking students to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services.
Responsibilities
As a Youth Development Specialist, you and your spouse will be responsible for creating a supportive family-like environment for students, managing daily household activities, and providing guidance and care to students in our residential program. You'll also have the opportunity to positively impact the lives of young students through leading daily devotions and taking students to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services. In addition, you'll participate in ongoing training and professional development to ensure you're equipped to meet the needs of our students and staff.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you and your spouse should have experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings. You should both be legally married for at least two years and be at least 27 years old. You'll also need to abide by a smoke-free and weapon-free campus policy and limit pets to fish and one approved breed of dog. Additionally, you'll require valid driver's licenses and the ability to become certified to drive student home vans.
