What are the responsibilities and job description for the Married Couple Student Caregivers position at Milton Hershey School?
We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated couple to serve as Youth Development Specialists at Milton Hershey School. As flex houseparents, you will play a vital role in the academic and personal development of our students.
Your responsibilities will include guiding and nurturing the students, handling responsibilities such as driving and administering medication, and leading students in daily devotions. You will also take students to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services and provide a family-like structure for the students.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings. You will also need to demonstrate a high degree of integrity as all staff are role models for students.
Requirements:
- Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings
- Couples must be legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
