The Role:
We are seeking married couples to join our team as Houseparents. In this role, you will live on-campus with your spouse and provide a family-like structure for a group of approximately 8-12 students. Initially, you will cover different student homes before being assigned to one specific home.
What We Offer:
As a Milton Hershey School employee, you will enjoy a competitive salary, comprehensive benefits, relocation assistance, paid training, and a flexible schedule. With nine days on followed by three days off, you will have ample time for personal activities. Plus, you will receive three weeks of paid summer vacation and opportunities for professional growth and development.
Your Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you must have experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings. This is a two-person job for couples who have been legally married for at least two years. Both spouses should be age 27 or older, and no more than three dependent children may reside in the student home. You must be comfortable leading students in daily devotions and take them to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services. A high school diploma or GED is required, as well as a valid driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans.
Our Culture:
We value integrity, compassion, and excellence at Milton Hershey School. Our staff members are expected to model these values and demonstrate a strong commitment to our mission. If you share our values and are passionate about making a difference in the lives of our students, we encourage you to apply.
