We are seeking a talented married couple to join our team as Houseparents at Milton Hershey School. As a Houseparent, you will play a vital role in shaping the lives of our students from disadvantaged backgrounds.
Key Responsibilities
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Guiding students in daily life, promoting their emotional, social, and academic growth
- Managing household tasks, ensuring a comfortable and safe living environment for students
- Establishing a family-like structure, fostering a sense of belonging and community among students
You will work closely with other staff members to provide comprehensive support to our students, addressing their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.
Candidates' Requirements
- Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Abide by a smoke-free and weapon-free campus policy
