Milton Hershey School is committed to providing a supportive and inclusive environment for our students. We are seeking married couples to join our team as Houseparents, providing a nurturing family-like environment for students from disadvantaged backgrounds.
The Role of the Houseparent
As a Houseparent, you will reside in an on-campus home with your spouse and guide a group of 8-12 students. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Providing a consistent family-like structure for your assigned students
- Handling responsibilities such as driving, administering medication, budgeting, reporting, and more
- Leading students in daily devotions and taking them to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services

Requirements
To be considered for this role, you and your spouse must meet the following requirements:
- Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings
- Legally married for at least two years
- Age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs
