Caregiver Role for Disadvantaged Students

We are seeking married couples to become houseparents at Milton Hershey School. As houseparents, you will reside in an on-campus student home, guiding and nurturing a group of approximately 8-12 students. You will provide a consistent family-like structure for students and handle responsibilities such as driving, administering medication, budgeting, reporting, etc.

Responsibilities:

• Reside in an on-campus student home with your spouse.
• Guide and nurture a group of approximately 8-12 students.
• Provide a family-like environment for students.
• Handle responsibilities such as driving, administering medication, budgeting, reporting, etc.

Qualifications:
- Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- High school diploma or GED required
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Candidates must demonstrate a high degree of integrity as all staff are role models for students
