Role and Responsibilities:
As a Houseparent at Milton Hershey School, you will play a critical role in the lives of our students. You will work closely with your spouse to create a supportive, loving environment that promotes academic, social, and emotional growth. Your responsibilities will include daily devotions, taking students to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services, and engaging in daily activities that foster a sense of community and belonging.
Requirements:
- At least two years of experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings
- Legally married couple with both spouses aged 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Able to abide by a smoke-free and weapon-free campus
- Comfortable leading students in daily devotions and taking them to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

- A competitive salary of $43,825 per person, with a total compensation package of approximately $150,000 per couple
