Milton Hershey School is looking for dedicated married couples to serve as houseparents, providing a supportive and loving home environment for students from challenging backgrounds. As a houseparent couple, you will live on campus and care for a group of approximately 8-12 students, guiding them through their daily lives and helping them develop essential life skills.
About the Job
The successful candidate will create a warm and welcoming atmosphere in the student home, promoting a sense of belonging among the students. You will handle various responsibilities, including driving, medication administration, budgeting, and reporting. As you get settled into the role, you will be assigned to a specific student home.

Requirements
- Previous experience working with youth, preferably in under-served settings
- Legally married couple for at least two years
- Both spouses must be at least 27 years old
- Limitations on dependent children residing in the student home
- Adherence to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus policy
- Valid driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Comfortable leading daily devotions and taking students to chapel services
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Demonstrated high level of integrity.
