Responsibilities
As a House Parent couple, your responsibilities will include:
- Providing a supportive family-like environment for students from under-served settings
- Guiding and nurturing groups of 8-12 students, handling daily responsibilities and ensuring the well-being of the children
- Leading students in daily devotions and taking them to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services
- Managing daily responsibilities, including driving, administering medication, budgeting, reporting, etc.
Requirements
• Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings
• High school diploma or GED required
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Valid driver's license; ability to become certified to drive student home vans
• Both spouses must complete an individual employment application
• Candidates must demonstrate a high degree of integrity as all staff are role models for students.
