About the Youth Development Specialist Role
Milton Hershey School seeks a skilled couple to join our team as Youth Development Specialists. In this capacity, you will live in an on-campus student home with your spouse and provide a supportive family environment for 8-12 students. Your primary objective will be to foster the students' physical, emotional, and educational development, helping them grow into confident, capable individuals.
The compensation package for this role includes a salary of $43,825 per person, totaling approx. $150,000 per couple. Additionally, you and your spouse will enjoy free housing, meals, utilities, and other benefits. We provide relocation assistance and paid training to help you settle into your new roles. A flexible schedule, with nine days on followed by three days off, allows for personal time and work-life balance.
To succeed in this position, couples should have a strong background in youth development, excellent communication skills, and the ability to navigate complex situations.
