What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mentorship Couples position at Milton Hershey School?
Your Role as a Flex Houseparent
As a flex houseparent, you and your spouse will be responsible for guiding and nurturing a group of approximately 8-12 students. This will involve creating a stable and supportive family-like environment, managing student homes, and ensuring the students' physical and emotional well-being.
You will work closely with the students, promoting their growth and development through daily interactions, mentorship, and guidance. Your role will also involve participating in daily devotions and leading students in Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services.
Requirements:
- Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings
- This is a two-person job for couples who have been legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses should be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
