As Flex House Parents, couples will reside in on-campus student homes and provide a nurturing environment for 8-12 students. They will manage various responsibilities such as driving, budgeting, and administering medication. Couples will create a family-like structure for students, handling daily devotions and taking them to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be eligible for this role, couples must have experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings. Both spouses should be age 27 or older, have been legally married for at least two years, and have no more than three dependent children residing in the student home. They must abide by a smoke-free and weapon-free campus policy, and limitations on pets apply. Valid driver's licenses and certification to drive student home vans are required. High school diplomas or GEDs are necessary, and candidates must demonstrate integrity and a high degree of commitment.
