About the Opportunity
Milton Hershey School is seeking married couples to become flex houseparents. In this unique role, you will provide guidance and support to students from disadvantaged backgrounds in a family-like environment on campus.
As a flex houseparent, you will be responsible for driving, administering medication, budgeting, and reporting while living in student homes. You will also handle various responsibilities such as childcare, meal planning, and household management.
Job Description
- Provide a stable and nurturing environment for students in our care.
- Develop strong relationships with students, helping them build confidence and self-esteem.
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure the well-being and academic success of students.
- Manage household chores, including cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation.
Requirements
- Couple must be married for at least two years.
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home.
- Valid driver's license required.
