About the Role
We are seeking married couples to serve as Houseparents at our school. As a Houseparent, you will be responsible for managing a home with 8-12 students, providing a family-like environment that is nurturing and supportive. This unique role requires a high degree of commitment and dedication, but it is also incredibly rewarding.
Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include driving, administering medication, mentoring, and guiding students in their daily lives. You will also be responsible for maintaining a safe and healthy environment in your home, which includes adhering to our smoke-free and weapon-free campus policies.
Benefits
We offer a competitive salary of $43,825 per person, with a total compensation package of approximately $150,000 per couple. This includes free housing, meals while on duty, utilities, and more. We also offer comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, and vision insurance; health savings and flexible spending accounts; life insurance; disability options; and retirement savings. Additionally, we provide relocation assistance and paid training.
Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must have experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings. Both spouses should be age 27 or older, and no more than three dependent children may reside in the student home. You must also be comfortable leading students in daily devotions and taking them to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services. A high school diploma or GED is required, and you must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
