Milton Hershey School is seeking dedicated and compassionate couples to join our team as Houseparents. In this rewarding role, you will provide nurturing support to groups of 8-12 students in a family-like environment, ensuring their care and guidance while living on campus.
The ideal candidates should have experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings, and be comfortable leading daily devotions and taking students to Sunday chapel services. A high school diploma or GED is required, and both spouses must complete an individual employment application.
This is a unique career path that takes consideration and commitment from both spouses. As a Houseparent, you will reside in on-campus student homes, guiding and nurturing your group of students, and handle responsibilities such as driving, administering medication, budgeting, and reporting. You will work a schedule of nine days on followed by three days off, with a three-week paid summer vacation.
