What are the responsibilities and job description for the Milton Hershey School Youth Development Professionals position at Milton Hershey School?
The Milton Hershey School seeks experienced youth development professionals to join our team as flex houseparents. As a flex houseparent, you will provide guidance and support to students from disadvantaged backgrounds, serving as part of a family-like environment in our on-campus student homes.
Candidates should have experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings, and be willing to relocate to Hershey, PA. A competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package are offered to successful applicants.
We are looking for couples who have been legally married for at least two years and are age 27 or older. Both spouses must be comfortable leading students in daily devotions and taking students to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services. Proselytizing is prohibited.
A valid driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans are required. High school diploma or GED is also necessary. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and demonstrate a high degree of integrity as all staff are role models for students.
