What are the responsibilities and job description for the Nurturing Couples for Student Homes position at Milton Hershey School?
We are seeking married couples to join our team as houseparents at Milton Hershey School. As a houseparent, you will provide a loving and supportive environment for students in need, helping them to grow and thrive in a family-like setting.
Your responsibilities will include driving, administering medication, budgeting, reporting, and other essential tasks. You will also have the opportunity to lead daily devotions and take students to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services.
The ideal candidate will have experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings. Both spouses should be age 27 or older, and no more than three dependent children may reside in the student home. Valid driver's licenses and the ability to become certified to drive student home vans are also required.
The benefits package includes a salary of $43,825 per person (a total compensation package of approx. $150,000 per couple), comprehensive benefits, relocation assistance, paid training, and a schedule of nine days on followed by three days off.
