Role Overview
As full-time houseparents at Milton Hershey School, married couples play a vital role in fostering the development of 8-12 underprivileged students. They provide guidance and supervision, creating a nurturing home environment that promotes the students' growth and well-being.
The ideal candidate will have experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings. Both spouses should be age 27 or older, and they must have a high school diploma or GED.
We offer a competitive salary of $43,825 per person (total compensation package of approx. $150,000 per couple) along with comprehensive benefits, relocation assistance, and paid training. Our schedule includes nine days on followed by three days off, allowing for personal time while students are at school, and a three-week paid summer vacation.
