We are seeking compassionate and dedicated couples to join our team as flex houseparents at Milton Hershey School. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of students from disadvantaged backgrounds.

Milton Hershey School is a fully endowed private school that provides an exceptional career-focused education to students in pre-K through 12th grade. Our mission is to help students from disadvantaged backgrounds succeed academically, socially, and emotionally.
The Role
As a flex houseparent, you and your spouse will reside in an on-campus student home and provide a nurturing environment for approximately 8-12 students. Your primary responsibility will be to guide and support these young people, helping them develop into capable and confident individuals.
Key Responsibilities
The key responsibilities of this role include:
• Providing daily care and guidance to students
• Managing household responsibilities, including meal preparation and cleaning
• Driving students to activities and appointments
• Administering medication and managing medical needs
• Budgeting and financial management
• Reporting and record-keeping
• Leading daily devotions and taking students to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you and your spouse must meet the following requirements:
• Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings
• At least two years of marriage
• Both spouses should be at least 27 years old
• No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
• Valid driver's license; ability to become certified to drive student home vans
• High school diploma or GED required
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• A high degree of integrity and commitment to family-like care and comprehensive support for students and staff
