What are the responsibilities and job description for the Nurturing Environment Specialists position at Milton Hershey School?
Responsibilities
- Provide daily care and support to a group of 8-12 students
- Handle responsibilities such as driving, administering medication, budgeting, and reporting
- Lead daily devotions and take students to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services
- Work closely with other houseparents and school staff to ensure the students receive the care and guidance they need
As a residential youth caregiver, you will be required to have a valid driver's license and be able to become certified to drive student home vans. You will also be required to abide by a smoke-free and weapon-free campus, and not permit alcohol or pets (except fish and one dog of approved breeds) while on duty.
