Student Support Staff at Milton Hershey School
We are seeking experienced couples to become part of our team as House Parents. As a House Parent, you will provide a supportive and stable environment for students in grades pre-K through 12.
The ideal candidate couple will have a strong commitment to education and a desire to make a positive impact on the lives of students. Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings, is highly valued.
This role requires a high degree of integrity, as staff members are role models for students. A valid driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans are required.
About the Role:
- Providing a supportive and stable environment for students
- Guiding a group of 8-12 students in a family-like environment
- Handling responsibilities such as driving, administering medication, budgeting, and reporting
Requirements:
- Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings
- Both spouses should be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
