Milton Hershey School is a leading private educational institution that offers a unique opportunity for married couples to become residential care providers. As a team, you will work together to create a supportive family-like environment for students from disadvantaged backgrounds.

Your responsibilities will include guiding and mentoring students in daily activities, handling daily tasks such as driving, administering medication, and budgeting, and reporting progress and maintaining accurate records. Your commitment and integrity will be essential in creating a positive living experience for the students.

We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including a salary of $43,825 per person (total compensation package approx. $150,000 per couple), medical, dental, and vision insurance, health savings and flexible spending accounts, life insurance, disability options, and retirement savings. The schedule includes nine days on followed by three days off, with a period of personal time while students are at school. You will also enjoy a three-week paid summer vacation.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team to provide a supportive family-like environment for students
• Guide and mentor students in daily activities
• Manage daily responsibilities such as driving, administering medication, and budgeting
• Report progress and maintain accurate records

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings
• This is a two-person job for couples who have been legally married for at least two years
• Both spouses should be age 27 or older
• No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
• Able to abide by a smoke-free and weapon-free campus
• Valid driver's license; ability to become certified to drive student home vans
• Candidates must demonstrate a high degree of integrity
