Houseparent Role
As a houseparent, you will play a critical role in helping our students achieve their full potential. You will provide guidance and support, manage household tasks, and engage in community activities. You will work closely with your spouse and other houseparents to create a consistent and supportive living environment for our students.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide guidance and support to students in daily life
• Manage household tasks and responsibilities
• Engage in community activities and events
• Oversee daily routines and schedules
• Work closely with other houseparents and school staff
Qualifications
• Experience working or volunteering with youth
• Married couple with at least two years of marriage
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older
• No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
• Valid driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
• High school diploma or GED required
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Demonstrated integrity and commitment to providing a positive role model for students
Benefits
• Salary of $43,825 per person (total compensation package of approx. $150,000 per couple)
