What are the responsibilities and job description for the Nurturing Student Homes Needed position at Milton Hershey School?
Job Description
As a flex houseparent, you will reside in one of our on-campus student homes with your spouse and provide a nurturing environment for 8-12 students. You will be responsible for guiding and supporting students in their daily lives, including driving, administering medication, budgeting, and reporting. You will also have the opportunity to lead students in daily devotions and take them to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services.
Our ideal candidates are experienced in working with youth, preferably from under-served settings, and are committed to upholding the values of Milton Hershey School. We are looking for couples who are legally married for at least two years, aged 27 or older, and able to lift up to 50 lbs. Both spouses must complete an individual employment application and demonstrate a high degree of integrity.
