What are the responsibilities and job description for the Nurturing Youth Leaders position at Milton Hershey School?
Milton Hershey School is a world-class institution dedicated to providing exceptional career-focused education to students from disadvantaged backgrounds. We are seeking married couples to join our team as Houseparents - Relocation to Hershey, PA Required. As Houseparents, you will reside in on-campus homes and provide a nurturing environment for 8-12 students.
This role requires you to guide and support students while handling various responsibilities such as transportation, administering medication, and maintaining a structured daily routine. The ideal candidates will have experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings. They should be comfortable leading students in daily devotions and taking them to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services (Note: Proselytizing is prohibited). Both spouses must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and demonstrate a high degree of integrity as all staff are role models for students.
