What are the responsibilities and job description for the On-Campus Family Coordinators position at Milton Hershey School?
Milton Hershey School is committed to providing a supportive and structured environment for students. We are seeking married couples to join our team as Houseparents, providing a family-like atmosphere for students.
As a Houseparent, you will work closely with your spouse to manage the daily responsibilities of caring for a group of 8-12 students. This includes driving, administering medication, budgeting, and reporting. You will also guide and nurture students in a way that promotes their physical, emotional, and academic growth.
We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including salary, housing, meals, and insurance. Our total compensation package totals approximately $150,000 per couple. You will also receive relocation assistance and paid training.
The ideal candidate will have experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably in under-served settings. Both spouses must be legally married for at least two years and age 27 or older. We welcome couples who are comfortable leading students in daily devotions and taking them to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services.
