As a House Parent at Milton Hershey School, you and your spouse will provide a nurturing, family-like environment for students aged 8-12. Your responsibilities will include overseeing student care, guiding daily devotions, and taking students to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services. You will also handle various household tasks, such as budgeting, driving, and administering medication.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you and your spouse should possess excellent communication skills, experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings. Both spouses must be age 27 or older, have been legally married for at least two years, and have a valid driver's license. Additionally, you must be comfortable leading students in daily devotions and take students to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services (Note: Proselytizing is prohibited).
