Responsibilities:
Flex houseparents are responsible for providing a consistent family-like structure for students, including driving, administering medication, budgeting, and reporting. They must also work collaboratively with other staff members to ensure the well-being of students. Flex houseparents cover different student homes before being assigned to one specific home.
Requirements and Qualifications:
Candidates must have experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings. The couple should have been legally married for at least two years, be at least 27 years old, and have no more than three dependent children residing in the student home. A high school diploma or GED is required, and candidates must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Both spouses must complete an individual employment application.
