What are the responsibilities and job description for the Private School Support Staff position at Milton Hershey School?
Life as a Flex Houseparent
As a Flex Houseparent, you will live on-campus with your spouse and provide guidance and nurturing to a group of approximately 8-12 students. You will be responsible for managing household budgets, administering medication, driving student home vans, and providing daily devotions. You will work closely with other staff members to ensure the well-being and development of our students.
Requirements and Expectations
- Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings
- At least two years of marriage and both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Valid driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- High school diploma or GED required
- Candidates must demonstrate a high degree of integrity and be comfortable leading students in daily devotions
