What are the responsibilities and job description for the Relocation Required Career Opportunity position at Milton Hershey School?
Milton Hershey School is a world-class educational institution that provides students from disadvantaged backgrounds with an exceptional career-focused education. We are seeking married couples to serve as flex houseparents, offering guidance and nurturing in a family-like environment.
As a flex houseparent, you will reside in on-campus student homes with your spouse, guiding and supporting a group of approximately 8-12 students. This role requires flexibility, patience, and a passion for working with youth.
We offer a competitive salary, comprehensive health coverage, and a structured work schedule with ample time off. Additionally, we provide relocation assistance and paid training to support your transition to our campus community.
To be eligible, you must have experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings. Both spouses should be age 27 or older, and no more than three dependent children may reside in the student home. You will also need to abide by a smoke-free and weapon-free campus, and limit pets to fish and one dog of approved breeds.
This is a rewarding opportunity for couples who are committed to making a positive impact on the lives of students.
