Milton Hershey School is a world-class private school that provides an exceptional education to students from disadvantaged backgrounds. We are seeking married couples to become flex houseparents, providing a loving and supportive environment for our students.
As a flex houseparent, you will live on-campus and care for a group of approximately 8-12 students. This role requires strong communication skills, patience, and a willingness to adapt to changing situations. You will be responsible for daily devotions, taking students to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services, and handling various responsibilities such as driving, administering medication, budgeting, and reporting.
We offer a competitive salary, comprehensive benefits, and relocation assistance. Our flex houseparents work a schedule of nine days on followed by three days off, with a period of personal time while students are at school. They also receive a three-week paid summer vacation.
To be eligible for this position, you must have experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings. Both spouses must be age 27 or older, and no more than three dependent children may reside in the student home.
