As a houseparent at Milton Hershey School, you will be part of a dedicated team that provides support and guidance to students from under-resourced settings. You will work alongside your spouse to create a safe, caring environment that promotes positive values and behaviors among our students.
**Responsibilities**
- Provide a loving home environment for students, encouraging positive relationships and communication skills
- Support students in their academic, emotional, and social development
- Participate in student activities, such as sports and clubs, to promote teamwork and camaraderie
- Collaborate with other houseparents and school staff to ensure comprehensive support for students
**Requirements**
- Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings
- At least two years of marriage and both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
