What are the responsibilities and job description for the Residential Caregivers position at Milton Hershey School?
Milton Hershey School is seeking married couples to become residential caregivers for our students. As a key part of our educational community, you will provide a nurturing family-like environment for disadvantaged youth by residing in on-campus homes, guiding and supporting a small group of students.
Responsibilities include managing daily responsibilities while promoting the school's educational mission and values in a disciplined, caring manner. You will work closely with your spouse to create a welcoming and structured home environment, fostering the academic, social, and emotional growth of our students.
We are looking for couples who have experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings. This role requires both spouses to be age 27 or older and have a valid driver's license. They must also be comfortable leading students in daily devotions and taking them to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services.
The compensation package includes a salary of $43,825 per person (a total compensation package of approx. $150,000 per couple), comprehensive benefits, relocation assistance, paid training, and a schedule of nine days on followed by three days off.
