Job Description:
House Parents at Milton Hershey School are responsible for providing a family-like structure for groups of students. This involves living on-campus with your spouse and handling daily tasks such as driving, administering medication, and budgeting. You will also lead daily devotions and accompany students to chapel services.
In addition to these responsibilities, you will be expected to work closely with teachers and staff to ensure the well-being and academic success of the students. This requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Valid driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
