Milton Hershey School is seeking married couples to serve as Residential Family Leaders. In this role, you will provide a nurturing and structured family environment for disadvantaged students in a residential setting.
You and your spouse will be responsible for guiding a group of up to 12 students, ensuring their well-being while living on campus. This position offers competitive compensation and benefits, including free housing, meals, and training.
As Residential Family Leaders, you will create a consistent family-like structure for students and handle responsibilities such as driving, administering medication, budgeting, reporting, etc.
Responsibilities:
- Create a positive and supportive living environment for students
- Develop and implement daily routines and activities for students
- Provide guidance and support for students' academic and personal growth
- Maintain accurate records and reports as required
Requirements:
- Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings
- This is a two-person job for couples who have been legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses should be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
