Milton Hershey School is seeking a married couple to become Flex Houseparents. As a Flex Houseparent, you will provide a supportive environment for students from disadvantaged backgrounds. This role requires a strong commitment to supporting students and a proven track record of working with youth.
About the Role
You and your spouse will reside in an on-campus home, guiding and supporting a group of 8-12 students. Your responsibilities will include managing daily tasks such as transportation, health care, and household duties. You will also be responsible for leading students in daily devotions and taking them to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services.
Responsibilities
* Provide a supportive and stable environment for students
* Manage daily tasks such as transportation and health care
* Lead students in daily devotions and take them to chapel services
* Collaborate with other residential staff to ensure student well-being
Requirements
* Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings
* Couples must have been legally married for at least two years
* Both spouses must be age 27 or older
* Valid driver's license; ability to become certified to drive student home vans
Compensation and Benefits
* Salary of $43,825 per person (total compensation package of approx. $150,000 per couple)
