We are seeking highly motivated and compassionate married couples to join our team as Residential Youth Caregivers at Milton Hershey School. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing a safe and nurturing environment for our students.
As a Residential Youth Caregiver, you will work closely with your spouse to create a warm and welcoming home environment for the students. You will lead daily activities, handle administrative tasks, and provide emotional support to the students.
Our ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, colleagues, and community partners.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement fun-filled programs for the students
- Provide emotional support and guidance to the students
- Handle administrative tasks such as reporting and budgeting
- Work closely with your spouse to ensure the students receive the best care possible
Requirements:
- Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings
- Married couple living together for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Valid driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
