At Milton Hershey School, we seek experienced couples to join our team as Houseparents. As a Houseparent, you will provide care and guidance to students from disadvantaged backgrounds in a family-like atmosphere. This unique role requires a married couple to reside on campus, where they support approximately 8-12 students, overseeing their daily activities and well-being.
Our ideal candidates should have experience working with youth, preferably from under-served settings. Both spouses must be comfortable leading students in daily devotions and taking them to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services. They must also demonstrate a high degree of integrity as all staff are role models for students.
The compensation package includes a salary of $43,825 per person (totaling around $150,000 per couple), comprehensive benefits, relocation assistance, paid training, and a schedule of nine days on followed by three days off.
