What are the responsibilities and job description for the Residential Youth Care Providers position at Milton Hershey School?
Milton Hershey School is a world-renowned institution that provides an exceptional education to students from disadvantaged backgrounds. As a Residential Youth Care Provider, you and your spouse will play a vital role in guiding and supporting these students as they navigate their academic journey.
Our Residential Youth Care Providers serve as flex couples residing in student homes, providing a nurturing environment that fosters growth and development. You will be responsible for handling various responsibilities such as driving, administering medication, and budgeting while maintaining a family-like structure.
To be successful in this role, you and your spouse must have experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings. This is a two-person job for couples who have been legally married for at least two years. Both spouses should be age 27 or older, and you must be comfortable leading students in daily devotions and taking them to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services.
We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including salary of $43,825 per person (total compensation package of approx. $150,000 per couple), comprehensive benefits, relocation assistance, and paid training. Our schedule allows for nine days on followed by three days off, with a period of personal time while students are at school. We also provide a three-week paid summer vacation.
