About the Position
This is a unique career path that requires consideration and commitment from both spouses. As a Houseparent, you will live on campus with your spouse and work together to provide daily care and support to a group of 8-12 students. You will be responsible for managing their schedules, homework, and daily activities, as well as leading students in daily devotions and taking them to Sunday chapel services.
Responsibilities
- Provide a safe and supportive living environment for students
- Manage student schedules, homework, and daily activities
- Lead students in daily devotions and take them to Sunday chapel services
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure students receive comprehensive support
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Couples must be comfortable leading students in daily devotions and taking them to Sunday chapel services
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
