Flex Houseparent Responsibilities
As a flex houseparent, you will be responsible for:
- Providing a consistent family-like structure for students
- Handling daily responsibilities such as driving, administering medication, budgeting, and reporting

Qualifications
To be eligible for this role, you must:
- Have experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings
- Be legally married for at least two years
- Be age 27 or older
- Not have more than three dependent children residing in the student home
- Avoid smoking, using weapons, and consuming alcohol while on duty
- Limited pets allowed (fish and one approved dog breed only)
- Hold a valid driver's license and be certified to drive student home vans
- Lead students in daily devotions and transport them to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services (Note: Proselytizing is prohibited)
- Meet basic requirements for high school diploma or GED
- Be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Demonstrate integrity, as all staff are role models for students
- Both spouses must complete individual employment applications
