Milton Hershey School is a world-renowned private school providing an exceptional career-focused education to students in pre-K through 12th grade from disadvantaged backgrounds.
Founded in 1909 by Milton and Catherine Hershey, the school is fully endowed and has the resources to support both students and staff.
Couples are hired as flex houseparents to reside in on-campus student homes and guide approximately 8-12 students each. Responsibilities include driving, administering medication, budgeting, reporting, and more.

• Salary: $43,825 per person (approx. $150,000 per couple with free housing, meals, utilities, and more)

Qualifications:
• Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings
• This is a two-person job for married couples who have been legally married for at least two years
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older
• Only one dependent child may reside in the student home
• A smoke-free and weapon-free campus policy applies, with no alcohol permitted while on duty
• Limitations on pets apply: only fish and one dog of approved breeds are permitted
• Valid driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans required
• Couples must be comfortable leading daily devotions and attending Sunday chapel services
• High school diploma or GED required
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Candidates must demonstrate high integrity as all staff are role models for students
