Milton Hershey School, a world-renowned private educational institution, is seeking married couples to fill the role of Houseparents. This unique opportunity allows you to provide a family-like structure for students from disadvantaged backgrounds, nurturing and guiding them in a residential setting.
The ideal candidate will be experienced in working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings. Both spouses must be comfortable leading students in daily devotions and taking them to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services. The couple must also be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and demonstrate a high degree of integrity as all staff are role models for students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Nurturing and guiding students in a residential setting
- Overseeing the daily lives of 8-12 students
- Managing various responsibilities such as transportation and medication administration
- Providing a consistent family-like structure for students
