What are the responsibilities and job description for the Residential Youth Caregivers position at Milton Hershey School?
Milton Hershey School is seeking married couples to become part of our dynamic residential team. As Residential Youth Caregivers, you will reside in on-campus student homes and provide a nurturing family environment for students in your care.
Our ideal candidates have experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings. You and your spouse should be age 27 or older, legally married for at least two years, and able to commit to a structured schedule.
We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as relocation assistance and paid training. Your compensation will include a salary of $43,825 per person, plus free housing, meals while on duty, utilities, and more.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide daily guidance and support to a group of approximately 8-12 students
- Manage household responsibilities, including driving and budgeting
- Lead students in daily devotions and take them to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services
- Abide by a smoke-free and weapon-free campus policy
